Bound is a freestanding installation composed of four individual white plaster sculptures that come together to form a single, cohesive structure. Over the surface of the sculpture, colourful moving projections shift and flow, illuminating the intricate textures carved into the plaster. These projections create a subtle illusion of movement, drawing viewers in and encouraging closer inspection. The contrast between the static, solid material and the fluid, light-based imagery blurs the line between stillness and motion.
