Fluid Motion is a suspended installation composed of eight individual plaster sculptures intertwined within a custom wooden structure. The delicate balance of materials gives the impression that the sculptures are floating held in tension, yet weightless. This architectural frame elevates the work, inviting viewers to walk beneath and around it, offering shifting perspectives and a sense of physical immersion. Carefully mapped projections flow across sections of each sculpture, highlighting textures while introducing subtle movement through light. The interplay of static form and dynamic projection creates a sense of motion frozen in time, reinforcing the piece’s central tension between solidity and fluidity. Fluid Motion encourages viewers to explore not only the physical construction of the piece but also the intangible qualities of movement, perception, and transformation.
